Excursion with the Industrieel Smalspoor Museum.

In the weekend of 6 and 7 October we (Industrieel Smalspoor Museum, Erica, the Netherlands) visited some Narrow Gauge museums and more in the neighbourhood of Hamburg Germany.

The first day we departed at Erica at 08.30. It should arrive at the first address at 11.30, but by a large traffic queue we have to drive a alternative route, so we were a little bit to late.

Our first address was Moorbahn Tiste. On the site of the closed a Peat Moss factory (Torfwerk Eugen Stoph & Co.) is a museum. The museum is still under construction, they are still building a track to drive in the former working area.

Our second address was Feld- und Kleinbahn Betriebs GmbH (FKBG) at Handeloh. They runs a 2 km long line called the Wild Erika. Near this line is a Öko-bauernhof (ecological farm) to visit.

Our last visit that day was Torfwerk Ahrens GmbH & Co KG at Sauensiek. This is a still running Peat Moss factory, we had permission to visit the site.

After the last visit we went to Bremervörde, there was our address to spent the night.
